Complete the following steps to fulfill your dream of becoming a famous archaeologist and getting an A in English. You must record all your activites in a log.

  Step 1

As an archaeologist, you will first trace the steps of Victor Frankenstein to discover what he did and where he did it. You will find quotes up to where Victor creates his monster chronologically and write them down supporting the location where you believe he is at.

Ex: Location: Los Angeles,  California

Quote: "i was born in LA where i spent..."

     Location: San Fransisco, California

Quote: " in an area near the Golden Gate bridge, i ran..."

  Step 2

After you have traced the steps of Victor Frankenstein up to his creation, you need to do some background research. You must find major events, scientists, philosophers, and religious leaders that existed during this time period (early 19th Century) to reflect the culture and type of environment that was eminent during Victor Frankenstein's life.

Ex: 3026/Gary Chen

He created the first vehicle that did'nt require gasoline...

     3028/Gasoline shortage

In 3028, the world panicked as consumers rushed to...

  Step 3:

After doing much research and tracing the steps of the early 19th century scientist, you have found a diary written by Victor Frankenstein. Inside you discover the inner conflict that the scientist underwent after he created his monster. Take a side, either the scientist or the monster. Who was right? Was Victor justified to create life? Did he have the right to take it away? Should he make his monster a partner? OR Did the Monster have the right to be angry? To kill Victor's Family? Choose a side, and develop your opinions in one or two paragraphs. Also, elaborate on current aspects that also complement this theme such as "Cloning, do we have the right to create life?", "Abortion, can we create and choose to destroy?" etc...
